Before finding her way to midwifery, Danielle studied Sociology and Spanish at the University of New Hampshire. She then spent several years in Spain, teaching English and working with exchange students. While she loved working with students, there was always an underlying pull to pursue birth work.
Danielle started her journey to midwifery as a student at Birthwise in 2021 and completed her schooling through the National College of Midwifery. She had a wide variety of clinical experiences; starting in her home state of New Hampshire, 6 months at a birth center on the US/Mexican border (combining her passions for reproductive health and Spanish) and a shorter internship in the Philippines.
Danielle joined Sacopee Midwives in the spring of 2024 as an assistant midwife and became licensed as a CPM in October 2024. Born and raised in Tamworth, New Hampshire, she looks forward to serving her community, as well as the one she is becoming a part of in the Sacopee Valley.
Danielle believes strongly in being a life long learner. She recently completed the Breech Without Borders training and is currently working to expand her knowledge on preconception and cycle tracking in order to provide IUI services alongside Grace starting soon!
Apart from midwifery, Danielle enjoys gardening, travel, time spent with family and friends, various creative outlets and most any activity that gets her outside.
